1. Translations in this article are from Curd 2007.

2. Schofield (1975) initially challenged the authenticity of B10. In his later work (1980) he accepted it as Anaxagorean.

3. Here I follow the text of the parenthetical remark as printed in DK; this text is difficult but not impossible (Schofield 1980, Curd 2007).
